This colonial estate in Quogue required a complete tear-off and replacement of its aging asphalt roof system. The homeowners wanted a premium look that matched the home's traditional architectural style while providing maximum protection against Long Island's coastal storms.
Our crew removed two layers of existing shingles, inspected and repaired the roof deck, and installed a full ice-and-water shield membrane system. We selected Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles in Driftwood for their superior wind resistance (130 mph rating) and dimensional aesthetic.
Custom copper flashing was fabricated on-site for all roof-to-wall transitions, chimney surrounds, and valley details. The project was completed in five days with zero weather delays and a spotless property cleanup.
