    The Pyramid Homeowner's Guide

    Preparing for Your Consultation

To ensure we provide the most accurate estimate for your roofing, siding, or renovation project, please have the following ready for our visit. A little preparation goes a long way in helping us serve you better.

    1. Access and Clearances

    The Perimeter

Please ensure we have clear access to the exterior of the home. Moving patio furniture, planters, or vehicles away from the work area allows us to take precise measurements and inspect the foundation/roofline thoroughly.

    Pet Safety

For the safety of our team and your pets, please ensure they are secured indoors during the inspection.

    2. Documentation & History

    Age of Current Materials

Knowing when your last roof or siding was installed helps us determine if there are underlying structural concerns and estimate remaining material life.

    Property Surveys

If your project involves a new addition or framing, having your property survey handy helps us confirm local setbacks and Long Island zoning compliance immediately.

    Previous Work Records

Any documentation from previous contractors, warranty information, or inspection reports can help us provide a more comprehensive assessment.

    3. Vision & Materials

    Style Preferences

Have you looked at Brava or James Hardie color palettes? Having a general color or style in mind helps us bring the right physical samples to the meeting.

    Problem Areas

Be ready to point out specific leaks, soft spots, drainage issues, or areas of concern you've noticed. Photos of problem areas during rainstorms can be particularly helpful.

    Budget Range

While not required, having a general budget range in mind helps us tailor our recommendations to solutions that work for your situation.
